Nivea Men has launched an online campaign to promote its Originals range that showcases a series of life hacks that help men with the annoying, everyday problems they face in life.
The work, created by Stack, shows how clever ‘cheats’ and tricks, like ironing a creased shirt using the tumble dryer or storing smelly trainers in a freezer to eliminate odours, could help make a bloke’s life easier.
The campaign launches with attention grabbing pre-rolls that feature a man waking up and getting ready for Sunday football with his morning routine made effortless by a number of these Life Hacks, including using Nivea Men – the effortless way to look and feel good. Viewers can then access more content and a host of new ‘life hacks’.
The content, which breaks on February 10, is set to appear across social media networks including YouTube and Facebook.
Tom De Vos, Senior Brand Manager, Nivea Men says, “Many men still don’t feel taking care of their skin is important, and one of the big barriers is the worry that it takes a long, boring beauty regime to make a difference. Actually with Nivea Men Originals it takes seconds to apply and ‘cheat’ great skin. Our new Life Hacks campaign is the perfect way to convey this story."
Liz Wilson, CEO of Stack adds, “We might be seeing the rise of the metrosexual men, but a majority of men continue to regard skincare as fussy and inconvenient. By tapping into the truism that men use the internet as a source of how-to guides, tips and new information, Life Hacks offers an original yet relevant way to engage with the audience who consider men’s skincare regimens as elaborate and cumbersome. It is a fun way of busting that myth."
