Global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios announces the promotion of Anna Garcia Lascurain to senior producer/music supervisor.
Notes managing partner Michael Gross, “Anna is an embodiment of everything we value at Squeak E. Clean – highly creative, funny as hell, outspoken, well-organized and furiously hard-working. She’s been a pleasure to collaborate with since joining the US Studios team three years ago, and we couldn’t be more proud of the growth she’s made not only as a Producer and Music Supervisor but also as a leader here.”
Memorable campaigns led by Garcia Lascurain include Old Navy’s 'Back to School - Fall 2022', Slack’s 'The Big Meeting' (2024) and this year’s Super Bowl spot for Verizon, featuring J Balvin.
While Garcia Lascurain has been successfully balancing project work thus far across Squeak E. Clean’s LA, CHI and NYC Studio operations, she will be tasked with “further building up our business in Austin, TX,” in addition to “continuing to drive on our industry-leading work throughout the Midwest,” Gross adds.
About Anna: after studying Music Business at NYU, Garcia Lascurain kicked off her professional career at Search Party Music, where she spent five years producing for a wide range of advertising and film projects including the award-winning 2011 Google spot 'Dear Sophie.' She moved on to Sub Pop Records, where she spent four years as Licensing Manager and then Director of Licensing pitching a catalogue of over 500 artists. Garcia Lascurain negotiated music placements in over 250 ads, television shows, films, video games and other media for Sub Pop. Prior to joining Squeak E. Studios, Garcia Lascurain was a music supervisor for Mood Media, conceptualizing and managing branded music experiences and programs for over 25 national corporate clients and consumer offerings.
