Soup.Film Adds Stini Roehrs to Its Family & Friends Roster

Berlin based director and photographer, Stini Roehrs, holds a Master’s degree in art history and pursued further studies in visual communication at the UDK in Berlin and Pratt Institute in New York City. Her background in performance theory and close association with Berlin's electronic music scene have uniquely shaped her sensitive approach to both still and moving images.

Utilising her rich experience in fashion, culture and lifestyle, she skillfully captures authentic and relaxed perspectives in her vibrant photography. She creates spirited and authentic images that capture intimate moments of companionship and complicity in a playful and physical cinematic style. Employing a cinematic style that exudes playfulness and physicality, she successfully portrays the spirit and beauty of her talents. Her focus includes photographic and cinematic works that engage with societal conventions, norms, and the boundaries between staged and documentary photography. She has exhibited her work in major cities worldwide, including New York, Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Berlin.
