Sony/ATV Extends Worldwide Deal with Ilsey Juber

The Los Angeles singer and songwriter has written for or with Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Drake, Linkin Park, Shawn Mendes and Britney Spears
The new agreement includes global hits such as Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” “In The Name Of Love” (featuring Bebe Rexha) and “Fireball” by Pitbull as well as her contributions to recent chart-topping albums by Beyonce, Drake and Linkin Park. It will additionally cover future compositions.

Los Angeles singer and songwriter Ilsey Juber has written for or with a number of the world’s biggest music stars, including Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Drake, Linkin Park, Shawn Mendes and Britney Spears.

For Shawn Mendes, she co-wrote his 2016 single “Mercy”, which became a transatlantic Top 20 hit and was recognized for 2 million equivalent sales by the RIAA in the U.S. where it has sold 1 million downloads and achieved more than 160 million audio streams. It featured on Mendes’ Billboard 200 chart-topping album Illuminate. She co-penned Martin Garrix’s RIAA-certified million-seller “In The Name Of Love” (featuring Bebe Rexha), which reached the U.K. Top 10 and topped Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, while her other notable hits include “Powerful” by Major Lazer featuring Ellie Goulding, “Fireball” by Pitbull featuring John Ryan and “Headlights” by Robin Schultz.

She contributed to Drake’s global chart-topping 2015 album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and his 2017 release More Life, which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. She reached No. 1 in the U.S. for a second time this year after co-writing two songs on Linkin Park’s album One More Light.

Juber was additionally one of the writers of Beyonce’s Grammy-winning Lemonade, which topped charts around the world and was recognized by IFPI as the biggest-selling album globally of 2016.

Among the other artists who she has worked with are Noah Cyrus, Fifth Harmony, Nick Jonas, Majid Jordan, Kaskade, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez and Tinashe.
