Soho Music Licenses Rachel Zeffira for Beautiful New McLaren Film

McLaren has created their latest film created by VCCP and directed by Rob Chiu at HSI London, to celebrate the world debut of its latest supercar, the 67FLT at the Geneva Motor Show. 

Soho Music was brought in as music supervisors to execute the soundtrack for the stunning new film. The music brief at this point was to seek a replacement for an Italian opera piece. Initial research began by sifting through various opera, classical & choral pieces, before leading to more contemporary vocal tracks which delivered a level of emotion to assist with the beauty and power of the film. 

Soho Music arrived at ‘The Deserters’ by Rachel Zeffira; a hauntingly beautiful piece by the Canadian songstress signed to Universal Publishing. Zeffira originally trained as a classical opera singer before branching out and forming one half of Cats Eyes with Faris Badwan of The Horrors, and further on debuting her solo material.
