FCB Brasil bring the duo back, with new content showing the couple’s routine during the pandemic

The couple Sérgio and Duda, played by Fábio Porchat and Noemia Oliveira, is back to show how SKY, the largest satellite subscription TV operator in Brazil, is taking entertainment to all platforms and all corners in the country. Created by advertising agency FCB Brasil, the project marks the first ever partnership between SKY and comedy group Porta dos Fundos, and emphasises the humorous and storytelling DNA in the company’s campaigns.

Sérgio and Duda live everyday situations of a couple that has been separated by the quarantine, and show that it is possible for people to keep romance alive and remain close together, even when they’re apart. The new 15 and 30 second videos, titled ‘Gotcha,’ have just premiered on broadcast TV, online media, and SKY’s social networks. The scenes depict the couple preparing to watch together an upcoming match of their favourite team when, minutes before the start of the game, Sérgio realises he forgot to schedule the purchase of credits for his SKY Prepaid account. The story shows how quickly and easily credit can be added to the account so consumers can enjoy the entire SKY programming, in any way and on any device they choose.

The project’s transmedia communication includes a series of chapters and goes beyond mere branded content, by mixing advertising and entertainment to create truly differentiated content that is featured on broadcast TV and on all SKY digital channels.

The project’s signature, ‘With SKY, we have fun together. Even when we’re apart,’ strengthens the positioning launched by the company early this year, aimed at showing how the brand is present throughout all moments in the consumers’ journey, especially when they’re having fun. The project will continue until the end of 2020, with new content released every month, depicting the couple using the brand’s different platforms.
