Most people don’t enjoy public transportation. Not only because it’s time consuming, but also because we often run into people and scenarios that we wish to avoid. Whether it’s an ex-boyfriend, someone with a smelly lunch box or an old lady that wants to teach you a thing or two about being a parent. But with many departures and a few minutes between each station, you’ll luckily be on your way soon.
During Christmas time in Denmark, the traffic in the metro is always more hectic and therefore the atmosphere can get tense: Tired parents travelling home after a long day entertaining their kids, sweaty people buying Christmas presents at the very last minute, wet winter jackets and shopping bags that fill up the entire space. It is safe to say that the Christmas spirit can be found any other place than the metro during Christmas time rush-hour. Spot from Hjaltelin Stahl follows Santa Claus, who has spent all day granting small children’s wishes in the mall, on his way home. He is tired and exhausted after a long day - finally getting his moment of peace to enjoy his late lunch snack. He removes his beard and hat only to find out that he has the attention of a young child.
This Christmas film is the fourth in the series of the concept.
