Sanitarium Appoints Independent Agency Connected Digital as Digital Media Partner

Australian health food giant Sanitarium has appointed independent agency Connected Digital as their digital media partner after a comprehensive competitive pitch.

Connected has been tasked with driving improved digital campaigns through a mix of strategy and executional excellence, with an emphasis on online video for Sanitarium’s full suite of iconic household brands including Weet-Bix™, UP&GO™ and So Good™ amongst others.

Connected founder and CEO, Laura Hamod Barnes, said: “Sanitarium is a dream client to work with. We love the Sanitarium products and the company’s social purpose. We had great chemistry with the marketing team from the minute we met. The brief is clear and we are looking forward to doing some great work together.”

“As a specialist, digital-led agency, we’re looking forward to working alongside Sanitarium’s media agency Initiative who brings a wealth of strategy, innovative thinking and experience to traditional media planning and buying. Together we will be an energetic, positive and powerful media team for Sanitarium,” she said.

Sanitarium digital manager, Amy Pugh said: “It has been wonderful to work with Connected Digital these past few months. The team has opened our eyes to new possibilities and ways of working to get the best out of our digital media. We are excited by what we can achieve together in the year ahead.”

The Sanitarium appointment came just after Forbes Australia announced Connected as its media partner of choice.

On the growth of the agency, Hamod Barnes, said: “Our goal is to work with great brands and passionate marketers. We’re not trying to be the biggest agency, we just focus on being the best at what we do. We love a digital challenge and work hard to deliver on our promises, moving quickly to drive change and innovation for our clients.”

Sanitarium and Forbes join Connected’s impressive client roster that includes Australian Institute of Management, Canon Australia, Skinstitut, My Plan Manager, Octet and Trend Micro.
