Sam i Showcases an Unconventional Love Story in TRY's Bewitching AI 'Break Me Open' Music Video

Hey Wonderful director and artist Sam Spiegel’s (AKA Sam i) has unveiled a bewitching music video for TRY’s new single, “Break Me Open” with Ry X and brought it to life using AI. It features young lovers in a transformational relationship exposing their souls and bodies as you’ve never seen before. Renowned for pushing creative boundaries as a director, music producer, composer and DJ, Sam for the first time used AI as a tool to depict this unabashed love story with no boundaries.

Sam, who as Sam i is also half of the artist TRY – the other is musical artist Shmuck the Loyal – said the unique idea was inspired by the song. “As we’re in a relationship we reveal ourselves to our partners over the course of time. All is laid bare; our beauty, our ugliness, our rage, our secrets. I was getting really inspired by AI video innovation and I felt like it would be fun to explore and help me to manifest my vision with the video. I also thought it was a good time to make a video with AI about a transformational relationship, as humanity’s relationship is in the midst of a massive change in our relationship with technology.” 

The environment for “Break Me Open” was created in MidJourney working hand in hand with visual effects and compositing teams at Santa Monica-based JAMM.
