Knight Frank’s annual Global Cities report is a noteworthy event in the real estate calendar; known for delivering insights into the property market in a visual and dynamic way, the report acts as a guide to investors on a global scale. This year the central theme of the publication was the idea of ‘Creative Cities’, places built on the creative people that define their industries and environments, and to launch it, Knight Frank needed a suitably creative production studio…
Working closely with animator Yoav Shvill and illustrator Timor Davara, SALT.TV created a vibrant animation that propels audiences through the narrative with constant movement and a pulsating voice-over that builds to a rousing climax. Forgoing a reliance on stock-photography, rather choosing to subtly integrate it within the film, the team created a unique concoction of vintage and modern that epitomises the creative revolution happening across all 32 cities featured in report. Not overflowing with information, but dropping enough enticing hints about the content through bold statements and visual cues, the film acts as a perfect teaser, encouraging investors to learn more from Knight Frank. Doesn’t hurt that it looks pretty beautiful too…
