Rushes are pleased to announce the arrival of Meg Guidon as Executive Producer (VFX).
Meg is a highly talented Executive Producer and VFX Consultant with a wealth of knowledge and expertise from over twenty years of experience in VFX, across all sectors from commercials, features and broadcast TV to corporate film - both in the UK and abroad.
Meg returns to Rushes having recently been working freelance as an animation producer at Passion Pictures. After taking roles at Cinesite and Mill Film in the 1990s – where she produced with the Oscar-winning VFX team for Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator’ – Meg relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 to represent the UK’s VFX industry. She worked there as a Vice Consul in the Foreign Office to promote trade with the US, forging enviable links within the US studio and postproduction community.
Meg has since worked as a VFX consultant and bidding producer both in Soho and internationally, recently working as VFX Producer on director Ralph Fiennes’ “The Invisible Woman” due for release later this year.
As Rushes Executive producer for new business, Meg will be charged with developing new client relationships, raising the profile of creative talent and recruitment of new creative talent, as well as growing existing business for Rushes.
Rushes MD Joce Capper states: “Meg is a highly respected individual and comes to us with terrific credentials working internationally with top tier clients. As well as strengthening an already busy and dynamic department, we look forward to working with Meg to develop new business and opportunities. Also, she is very lovely and very funny and puts her heart and soul into her work and so will fit in perfectly at Rushes.”
