Rosapark's Paedophile Teddy Bears Share a Horrifying Statistic

Agency follows up on its 'Human Emoji' with a startling print campaign for Innocence en Danger
Last year, Rosapark created the human emoji, terrifying the world, and most importantly, raising awareness with parents about the dangers of leaving children unsupervised on the internet.

This year’s follow up raises awareness about a shocking statistic: eight out of ten times, sexually abused children are betrayed by someone they trust, whether it’s someone in the family, or from the wider family circle: trusted neighbours, sports coaches, baby sitters, teachers.

The statistic comes from a study conducted by Dr Muriel Salmona, psychiatrist and trauma expert.

The images feature teddy bears that represent these abusers. Children innocently hold these bears, showing the trust they place in figures of authority, and dramatising just how close danger can be.

The purpose? To shock, to provoke discussion, and to convince parents to always be on the alert.
