A former Shots Award Winner, Rob combines the sensitivities of lifestyle and human interest grounded in documentary, with highly developed technical and stylistic skills honed in advertising.
His career began filming human interest documentaries such as Modern Times and Cutting Edge for the BBC and Channel 4, before moving on to shooting cars for Top Gear. It was on this show that he developed his unique ability to capture the raw excitement of powerful engines, shiny metal and the smell of new leather.
Rob’s use of breathtaking landscapes and expansive, epic frames work in symmetry with his ability to shoot exciting and immersive close up action; skills that he has implemented for brands such as Nissan, Mazda, Land Rover, Triumph, Harley Davidson and most recently Ducati. Shooting around the globe on every major continent including Europe, Asia, South Africa, the Middle East and the good old US of A, Rob’s work is always thrilling and absorbing.
Combining his directorial talent with creative sensibilities, Rob has also devised film campaigns for online and PR purposes.
Rob has a feature in current development and recently shot a drama documentary for award winning RAW TV.
