Creative Innovation company R/GA has announced the promotion of Ryan Wareham to SVP managing director for its EMEA operations. Previously executive client and delivery director for EMEA, Ryan will now be responsible for R/GA’s long-term business vision and strategic direction for the region as it enters its new era as an independent agency. Ryan will work in close partnership with R/GA’s creative leader in EMEA, chief creative officer Nick Pringle, and together will ensure the right talent and culture are in place to allow the agency to continue to act as a trusted partner to its clients and deliver game changing best-in-class work. Ryan will report into Robin Forbes, global CEO R/GA.
Ryan is a boomerang to R/GA, previously holding the role of head of production before re-joining the company in 2023. Ryan’s experience in blending creativity, new technology and agility to create measurable business value will play a key role in driving long-term client relationships in the EMEA region with brands such as Nike, Google, Samsung, L’Oreal and Moncler.

Prior to re-joining R/GA, Ryan was the chief operating officer and head of delivery at 11:FS, a challenger consultancy focused on building digital-first propositions for the financial services sector. Ryan oversaw delivery of transformational projects for clients such as UBS and Nat West. Before 11:FS he held the position of head of production at R/GA, where he was a member of the senior leadership team. Ryan also spent seven years at Digitas as programme director working with clients such as Honda, Tesco and Lloyds Banking Group.
