Revival Film Announces Executive Producer Transition

Revival Film is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mike Begovich as the new executive producer. This strategic decision comes as Stephanie Farmer retires to pursue new opportunities.

Stephanie Farmer, who co-founded Revival Film with Luis Pena (co-founder and director), and whose tenure has been marked by award winning commercials and significant contributions to the company and industry, will leave behind a legacy well known by her colleagues. The entire Revival family expresses deep gratitude for Stephanie's stewardship, dedication, and exceptional character during her time as executive producer.  

“Steph’s beautiful charm, fierce intellect, sense of humour and love of the human process is a huge reason for the inspirational culture and success of Revival,” said Luis. “She has been an integral ingredient in what we consider our ‘special sauce’.” 

Stepping into Stephanie Farmer’s shoes is Mike Begovich (aka Bego), an industry veteran who is known for his can-do approach, creative vision and supportive leadership. With an extensive background in commercial video production as an EP and Line Producer, and having produced a majority of the projects shot at Revival Film over the years, Bego is poised to continue to build upon the tradition and reputation that clients have grown to love and trust about the company.

"Bego has not only been an incredible producer, but he has been my creative partner as well,” stated Luis. “And with him moving into the executive producer role, Revival productions will be more efficient, with faster decisions, and pure to the concepts we are bringing to life.”

Mike Begovich is equally enthusiastic about his new EP role at Revival, stating, “Bittersweet really. Stephanie has been an amazing mentor and friend and I will miss our working relationship and her seasoned guidance. But more so, I am honoured and excited to take-over the role of EP for such an amazing company. Having worked with the family at Revival Film for quite some time, I have always admired and embraced the culture that Luis and Stephanie have created. It’s extremely infectious and I am eager to build upon this foundation and help lead the company into an exciting new chapter.”
