Renault Alaskan Spot Celebrates People Who Are Not Afraid to Get Their Hands Dirty

Nicholas Berglund director Gonzalo Olivero has just released a director’s cut of an amazing new film for Renault Alaskan. Produced by Rebolución, this poetic video with the help of timeless lyrics of 'Heroes' by David Bowie celebrates the doers - people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty on a daily basis. Gonzalo comments: "There are projects where you feel deeply identified. Stories that allow you to mature as a director, or at least teach you to stop being pretentious and avoid following trends. Projects that teach you to trust your own style and fight for what you believe in.

"This is one of them, possibly the project where I have enjoyed the most as an advertising director, thanks to the incredible experience of filming in Uruguay with some of the most passionate team I have ever worked. A talented and experienced team, but above all with a huge heart that pushed all the time to achieve this final result.

"I want to thank Renault and Publicis France for thinking of us again. And to Marcelo Vergara for trusting us once again, and giving me the total confidence and freedom that a director needs.

"Thanks to Rebolución for continuing to be a family to me. To Echi and Pilar for their support and to Chancho for being the shield that always protects me.

"Thanks to Metanoia and Fede Ameglio for their good energy and support throughout the process. Thanks to Matías Penachino and Isis Malpica, for being my best team, for being the ones who encourage me and being my best critics.

"Thanks to Marc Soria, my editor, for putting me against the wall. And thanks to Emmanuel Romero for always help me to finish these Directors cut.

"Thank you Fede Muse for always having the best vibe and always thinking about the project as if there was a second director on set.

"And thanks to a great professionals like Seba Chappe, Edgardo Urrutia, Hernan Velez, Lu Rodriguez, etc.. and many more.

"Also thanks to Club Color and Dani Balleza for helping me to finish this directors cut.

"Thank you all for this amazing experience.”
