Remy Cayuela Directs the Language of Dance in Capital Cities' 'Vowels' Promo

Park Village director Remy Cayuela took to LA's light soaked streets to shoot a special music video for Capital Cities 'Vowels'. Remy worked closely with choreographer Denna Thomsen (long time collaborator of Ryan Heffington on videos for Sia, Sigur Ros, Kenzo etc) who visualised the lyrics as their sign language translation resulting in a fantastic full body lip-sync.

On the challenges faced, Remy said, "Besides the actual choreography, which is the key element of the video, everything else had to be choreographed and timed very precisely. The challenge particularly lay in matching the camera moves, the choreography and the lyrics while moving through quite an unpredictable urban landscape."
