Rapper Orelsan Becomes a Stop Motion Animator to Tell the Story of His Life in Latest Promo
WIZZ director Victor Haegelin aka @patagraph strikes again with this new music video for French rapper Orelsan.
Victor Haegelin comments: "When Orelsan asked me to direct the music video for 'La Quête' I went through several stages. At first I was flattered and very excited by this opportunity! Then I was touched by the lyrics. Then I was excited again at the idea of creating a sequence shot that mixes animation and live action. But then I had doubts when it came to actually doing it. At last, I was excited again when I saw that I could make it work!"
"Knowing that Orelsan is an animation enthusiast, I thought it would be fun to put him in the shoes of an animator telling his own story with clay characters. I was really pleased by this collaboration, Orelsan happily played along and I must say that he might have a real talent for animation! I would not be surprised if he was approached by big stop motion studios in the future..."
