For 10 years, The Open Vinyl Sessions have graced some of London’s most renowned venues, from The Hospital Club to Ronnie Scott's and Paradise to the Groucho. Now on the rooftop of the Century Club, the vibes are still going strong!
Hosted by DLMDD's Jeremy Newton aka 'Uncle Vibes' the night operates an open deck policy - house party style.
The result is a carefully curated selection of DJs and selectors, both new and seasoned, delivering a free-flowing soundtrack that spans Funk, Soul, Disco, Hip-Hop, R&B, Lovers Rock, Dancehall, Broken Beat, House, Garage, Jungle, and anything else rooted in the groove. All vinyl, all vibes!
The last event was one of the best to date, with old faces and new behind the turntables and on the dance floor.
See below for a playlist celebrating some Open Vinyl classics and to give you a flavour of what to expect.
The next session will be on Friday 28th February on the roof of Soho's Century Club. If you're lucky, we might even feature a couple of ad-lands finest on the 1's and 2's.
Expect vibes a plenty, so make it a date, and don’t be late.
The night is guestlist only, so if you're interested, please email Jeremy.Newton@dlmdd.com to get involved.
