It’s my favourite time of year, where I can legit only meet people for food if lit by candlelight, go to the office in clothes that aren’t a world away from my pyjamas and getting into bed before 9pm feels less like defeat and more like a personal victory. It’s also the time that my kids go back to school kicking and screaming, and I go can-can kicking and squealing off to Kinsale for the glorious Sharks, followed closely by the brilliant APA show and then Ciclope this week. I’m not going this year (I’ll be catching old mate Quantic at Outernet tomorrow instead - Weds 9th Oct) so have put together a comforting hot-toddy of a playlist for those returning from the industry event marathon and vowing not to get dressed for a week. You’ll find an eclectic mix, from Habibi funk & Frafra gospel alongside a couple of newer releases on heavy rotation offered up by Rosie Lowe & Maribou State. Safe to say Autumn is fully upon us so whack this lot on, fold yourself into the sofa and let the thermostat scrap commence.
