The talent management agency will represent the Pulse's roster on the US West Coast
Pulse Films has announced the appointment of bueno, the talent management agency launched by Millie Munro & Bryan Shrednick, to represent the studio's roster on the West Coast.

Based in Venice, a stone's throw from the Pulse Films L.A. office, bueno is a talent management company borne out of the founders’ shared passion for connecting renowned industry artists and production partners with agencies and brands to bring stories to life.

bueno’s Millie Munro commented: “Bryan and I are thrilled to be partnering with Pulse Films.  We’ve long been fans of the brand and now, more than ever, the market calls for their artists and storytellers with the ability to collaborate with clients and genuinely break through to consumers.”

bueno’s Bryan Shrednick added: “Pulse’s DNA of music and entertainment really resonates with us and their depth of talent is so compelling and ripe for this market. We’re super excited to connect them with the creative opportunities here.”

Davud Karbassioun, Global President of Commercials & Branded Entertainment, who joined the studio in January added: “We are extremely proud to welcome Millie & Bryan as our new West Coast sales representatives. I’ve known Millie for a long time and have a lot of respect and affection for her uncompromising approach. When we reconnected in Los Angeles and met Bryan I knew we’d found the natural extension of our Pulse family. They share our ambition to build on our momentum in the U.S as well as our intention to focus on supporting our evolving roster of talent and ensuring we’re delivering the very best creative output on our home turf on the west coast.”

Pulse’s roster of directors boasts award winning talent including Kahlil Joseph, Sam Pilling, Thirtytwo, Mike Piscitelli and Michael Haussman.

This year Pulse Films took to the stage at Cannes Lions with frequent collaborators Run the Jewels (having previously produced a number of award winning music videos together) to discuss creating IP and innovative partnerships. Pulse Films also took home 3 Gold Lions for Monoprix (ThirtyTwo) and Process with Sampha (Kahlil Joseph), as well as having two of their rising stars Michal Marczak and Oscar Hudson featuring in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors showcase.

As a studio Pulse Films has produced ground-breaking films including American Honey, helmed by Andrea Arnold which won the coveted Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and was BAFTA nominated. The studio also produced double Sundance Award winners The Witch and All These Sleepless Nights; as well as 2017’s critically acclaimed festival favourite Trophy. Pulse also produced Beyonce’s ground-breaking Peabody Award winning film Lemonade.

The studio has had a standout year in television with significant commissions from leading broadcasters, including a major 10-episode series charting the history of Rock & Roll for Sky, Black is the New Black (BBC Two), The New Age of Terror (History/A+E Networks), United States of Hate (BBC One/BBC Three), Who’s Spending Britain’s Billions? (BBC Two) and Hunting the Nazi Gold Train (BBC Three).

Pulse Films’ recent accolades and nominations include recognition from the likes of BAFTA, GRAMMY’s, Cannes Lions, the Music Video Awards and winning top awards at the Cannes Film Festival and the Sundance Film festival.
