Publicis Groupe Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) agencies brought home the coveted ‘Most Effective Agency of the Year’ recognitions amongst other medals at Effie Awards in Poland, Romania, and Serbia this year. Effie Global Index also placed Leo Burnett Romania as the #2 agency in Europe and #11 worldwide, while three campaigns by Publicis Groupe Romania were included in WARC Ranking Effective 100 in 2022.

At the Effie Romania Awards 2022, Publicis Romania and Leo Burnett were the #1 and #2 'Most Effective Agency of the Year'. MSL and Starcom were also ranked within the top 10 list. Winning alongside their clients, Proctor & Gamble and Carrefour, who were also named #1 and #3 Client of the Year. Publicis Groupe Romania agencies won more than 50% of all the awards with 28 awards including four Gold, seven Silver, 17 Bronze.
Publicis Groupe Poland and Publicis Le Pont teams took home 42 awards (over 60% of the awards handed out) across multiple categories at the recent Effie Poland Awards 2022. Continuing its winning streak from last year, Starcom was once again crowned the most effective Media Agency of the Year, while Zenith placed third in the same category. Additionally, LiquidThread was named the third most effective Agency of the Year. Agency brands contributing to the awards haul included Starcom, Zenith, LiquidThread, Performics - Spark Foundry, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Le Pont, Publicis Worldwide and Leo Burnett.
This year at the 5th Effie Serbia Awards, Leo Burnett Serbia was named the Agency of the Year for the fifth time in a row, while its client, A1 was named Client of the Year.
A ranking of the world’s most awarded campaigns and companies for effectiveness, the WARC Ranking Effective 100 tracks the results of effectiveness award shows worldwide and acts as a benchmark for excellence in effectiveness, allowing marketers to compare their performance with that of their peers. This year, represented amongst this list of the world’s best and most effective campaigns are three campaigns by Publicis Groupe Romania - #4 Moldy Whopper (Burger King), #49 The Online Park (T-Mobile) and #50 Sleep Tight (P&G).
Contributing to Publicis Groupe CEE’s effectiveness awards haul this year also include Publicis Groupe Czech Republic and Croatia.
