WithFeeling recently had the pleasure of collaborating again with friends What's Possible Group, a creative agency based in London, to develop a new TV commercial and campaign for PrepayPower, an Irish company that empowers its customers to take control of their energy costs.
Take Back Control of your Energy Costs!
For this project, WithFeeling created original music and sound design, developed the sonic branding, a distinctive sonic logo that aligns perfectly with PrepayPower's innovative approach to energy management. PrepayPower offers a unique service that allows customers to pay for electricity as they use it, eliminating the uncertainty of big bills and providing real-time tracking through their app. With the sonic branding, WithFeeling aimed to encapsulate this sense of empowerment and simplicity, helping PrepayPower reinforce its message of transparency and control in the energy sector.
Directed by Brian Durnin
For this project with PrepayPower, WithFeeling worked closely with the talented director Brian Durnin to bring his creative vision to life. A particularly fun part of the process was recording with top UK Voiceover Guy Harris, who post-dubbed the actor Declan Reynolds. His script? He was paid to say "No" (What a job! WithFeeling experimented with slowing down and pitching his voice to achieve a unique slow-motion effect, adding a distinct character to the piece. To recreate the famous Mozart's Requiem, the team chose not to record live vocals; instead, utilised the Symphonic Choirs library from EastWest, an award-winning tool known for its realism and flexibility. This choice allowed the team to precisely craft a powerful choral sound, tapping into the library's expansive capabilities to simulate a full choir without the need for a physical recording session. The result was a compelling and memorable audio experience that perfectly complemented the visual narrative of the campaign.
Special thanks to Robert Cannon, David Morgan and Regina Lopez from What's Possible Group who have supported us for over a decade!
