Creative agency Possible announced today two significant senior appointments to the leadership team in the London office. Jim Chesnutt has been appointed as UK Managing Director and Lucas Peon joins as the Executive Creative Director. These two additions signify the importance of the London office as a European hub and the investments that POSSIBLE is making in the management and creative teams to deliver great service and work for its growing client base in the region.
“Jim and Lucas are the latest in several strategic leadership appointments at POSSIBLE” said Shane Atchison, Possible CEO. “Promoting these key players within the agency means they will share their rich international knowledge and experience with the London team and clients. They have both been working with London over the course of the last few months and we have seen the successful chemistry in the office lead to bold client work and several successful pitches. They are perfectly placed to hit the ground running and drive the agency forward.”
Jim Chesnutt will be moving from Seattle, where he was a Vice-President of Accounts. He joined Possible over a decade ago and has led client relationships with leading brands such as Coca-Cola. Jim boasts an impressive mix of tech knowledge, European and global experience, having previously worked across accounts including Sony Electronics, Norton, Amazon, Microsoft, VirginMobile and Samsung. Prior to joining POSSIBLE, Jim worked for a number of US-based marketing and communications agencies including Fallon, Braincraft, US Web/CKS and Nelson Communication as well as founding a technology start-up.
“This is a key time for the agency as we experience rapid development across our major global markets,” commented Jim Chesnutt. “London is playing an increasingly important strategic role and I am looking forward to bringing my global experience to help develop the London team. Our goal is to support a world class office that combines knowledge and experience from across the world, channelling it to create a unique offering for our UK and global clients focused on world class work that delivers results.”
With more than two decades in marketing and advertising, the new ECD Lucas Peon also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both traditional and digital media. Lucas has led a multitude of memorable campaigns for a range of brands from Johnnie Walker and Volkswagen to Doritos and T-Mobile. He will be making the move from Cincinnati where he oversaw the creative work on P&G, Smucker’s and ConAgra. Lucas brings to London a plentiful supply of global insights having been raised and educated in Argentina, France, the U.S., Mexico, Chile and Brazil.
“I believe that true collaboration between disciplines in marketing sciences, planning, media and creative is what leads to truly powerful insights. Insights that drive more than just great campaigns, but have the power to create movements that matter,” says Lucas. “I am inspired by the London team and the opportunity to work in this great city, and believe that we have all the right elements to deliver world-class, award-winning work for our UK and global clients.”
