One of the first companies dedicated to making flight simpler, safer, and more accessible, Pivotal introduces a new era where anyone can experience personal aviation—no pilot’s license required. This film celebrates a new class of pioneers: the first wave of Helix pilots mastering the all-electric, VTOL aircraft. Featuring Pivotal team members and trainees, the film delivers an authentic, firsthand look at the exhilaration of learning to fly, showcasing the cutting-edge flight simulator and aircraft that make it all possible.
Reimagining traditional training content, Baldwin& and SLMBR PRTY crafted an immersive brand experience, transforming Pivotal’s flight program into a compelling visual narrative. Baldwin& Group Creative Director Emily Watson played a key role in shaping the vision for the film, working with nutmeg to ensure it captured both the groundbreaking technology and the deeply personal experience of learning to fly. The film seamlessly chronicles the journey from ground school to simulator training, aircraft handling, and ultimately, flight—bringing Pivotal’s innovations to life, from its advanced aero engineering to state-of-the-art VR simulations.
Shot on location at Pivotal’s facilities in Palo Alto, California, the production blends nutmeg’s signature cinematic style with a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Capturing breathtaking aerial sequences, nutmeg and SLMBR PRTY worked in sync with Pivotal’s flight experts and training crew to create seamless, high-energy visuals that make the dream of flight feel tangible.
