Is it really December if you don’t have Shakin’ Stevens jingle-belling through your office as you chow down on your 15th mince pie of the day?
Well, music and sound agency
Pitch & Sync are throwing their hat in the ring and facilitating such festive scenarios by touring their personalised jukebox around a bunch of ad agencies, production companies and VFX studios this December, across their studio based cities of London, Berlin and Amsterdam.
With over 1300 tracks including a number of guilty pleasures, Pitch & Sync’s team pack a kick heftier than a Christmas party of forced-fun with laced eggnog.
From December 7th - 15th a series of musical guests performed live from within Wieden+Kennedy’s Hanbury Street window every night at 6pm. The artists, ranging from classical pianists to folk singers, took on the Pitch & Sync bespokely extended piano to play reimagined, 30% bigger Christmas classics.
Pitch & Sync’s Managing Director, Victoria Poole said: “At P&S we love Christmas, and what better way to celebrate the festive season than by curating a collection of our favourite tracks on our very own touring P&S Jukebox. We wanted to share some Christmas cheer with a few of our clients, bringing a bit of silliness and fun to the festive period, but also to quench our appetite for musical collaborations.
This follows our recent collaboration with the guys at Wieden+Kennedy that has marked a year of celebrating our 10th birthday. 10 years has equalled a 10 octave piano and that has proven once again how our innovation and passion for doing the unexpected with music and musical instruments creates next level immersion and really engages people.
It’s been such a great year of activations and collabs and we wanted to end the year on a high. Christmas brings people together, music brings people together - it made sense to us”.
Pitch & Sync’s Co-Founder and Executive Creative Director Alex Lavery added, “It’s rather nice removing ourselves from the choosing of music and letting our friends and clients put their necks out to colleagues with their own jukebox choices. We’ve offered a Cliff Richard calendar to the best Crimbo selecta in town.”
