"Pipe is a holistic creative, with expertise across all disciplines that brands of today require," said Francisco Samper, president of the MullenLowe Group in Colombia and Latin America. "His experience as a musician, event producer, creative director in BTL, ATL and media agencies, together with his deep knowledge of digital and innovation environments, make him an ideal professional for the business model that we are implementing in Colombia. He's also an innate leader with high level managerial skills," he added.
Pipe's first foray into the world of advertising took place more than 20 years ago when he began making jingles and composing music for television. He went on to be an integral event producer and then landed as a creative. From there he quickly rose to managing creative groups in some of the most important agencies in Colombia, like Leo Burnett and DDB, and Wunderman Thompson (today VML), where he deepened his knowledge in innovation, product development and digital marketing.
In his latest role as CCO of Dentsu Creative in Colombia, he also explored the world of media. He was a member of the Global Creative Council and curator of this group's proprietary AI tools.
"This is the beginning of an exciting new stage. For me, it is an enormous privilege to be part of an agency with such an outstanding advertising legacy in Colombia and the world. It’s an immense responsibility to our team and our clients.”
“The dynamism of our industry and the exponential growth of technologies force us to evolve our creative product in a transformative way. That is precisely what we are going to pursue: a path towards innovation and growth for our clients' businesses from a contemporary, real and forceful creative exercise," said the new CCO.
