Peugeot has launched a new ad campaign highlighting breakthrough technology that gives Peugeot owners the chance to personalise their car horns.
The online film, created by Stack for Peugeot’s new 208 GTi model, raises awareness of Peugeot UK’s state-of-the-art ‘audio sonic’ technology, which tailors car horns to reflect owners’ taste and character. The new technology launches in April and will be a standard feature across the entire Peugeot range.
The campaign, which rolls out on April 1st, includes a short online film that focuses on the growing demand for cars and car accessories to be tailored to owners’ individual personalities.
The film follows four key characters, a DJ, a dandy, a burlesque dancer and an artist, who each choose a type of horn sound for their car that reflects their personality.
Alison Stewart, the Head of CRM & Aftersales Marketing at Peugeot UK, said: “Peugeot keenly recognises the shift towards consumers’ need for their cars to be an extension of their personality rather than a functional means of transport. As such, we are developing a host of personalisation options on our models moving forward and beginning with the exciting launch of the new 208.”
Liz Wilson, the chief executive of Stack, said: “This campaign recognises peoples’ desire for individuality whilst reinforcing Peugeot’s new drive for personalisation in their cars. It has been great to work with Peugeot on showcasing a humorous side to the brand whilst supporting a core product development.”
