Uniting the tradition of classical music with the digital language of gen z. This is the objective of "Feed Sinfônico", an initiative created by Ogilvy Brasil for Petrobras, which positions the Petrobras Symphonic Orchestra at the centre of cultural trends, transforming classical works into contemporary arrangements that interact with the dynamic formats of TikTok.
The project provides exclusive arrangements in the platform's sound library, allowing users to create their own content using the orchestra's compositions. The arrangements combine classical music with popular styles such as forró, funk and baião, as well as including special sounds for reactions, such as sounds of laughter, chaos and alerts, providing an experience that is completely integrated into the digital universe.
The initiative features the orchestra's own musicians as protagonists, who, in addition to performing the works, participate in videos in the most popular formats on TikTok, such as "Get Ready With Me" and "How People Think It Is", revealing the behind-the-scenes of the symphonic universe in a relaxed and authentic way.
"The Symphonic Feed represents a bridge between two seemingly distinct worlds, but which share the same essence: a passion for music. Those who produce content on TikTok can now innovate with soundtracks that combine great classics with touches of Brazilianness and modernity, proving that classical music is capable of dialoguing with different generations and styles," highlights Arthur Ferreira, sector manager of advertising creation at Petrobras.
The arrangements will remain available in TikTok’s library, ensuring a lasting legacy for the democratization of classical music on social media.
