Forget NekNominate – innocent has seen online success with people choosing to cheer their mates up by sharing a (tongue in cheek) compliment online.
Launched on Thursday 30th January, the innocent compliment generator has already seen over 50,000 shares and more than 2 million page views.
Hosted on the innocent website (www.chainofgood.co.uk/passiton), the compliment generator allows people to personalise one of 100 funny compliments written by innocent before sharing it with their friends on Facebook or Twitter.
It’s all part of the Chain of Good campaign innocent launched in January including TV and print adverts, BTL and experiential activity to celebrate the Chain of Good that begins when you buy an innocent drink: in a nutshell, they taste good, they are good for you and as innocent donates 10% of its profits to charity, buying an innocent drink helps do good for others too.
Joe McEwan, communities manager at innocent, says: “To bring our Chain of Good campaign to life for people online, we invited people to start their own Chain of Good by choosing and sending an entertaining compliment to a friend via Twitter or Facebook.”
As the innocent compliment generator has been such a success, innocent will be adding around 50 new compliments in time for Valentine’s Day, so that all of those people who forgot to buy a card for their loved one can redeem themselves (at least a bit).
