Peet's Coffee Shares Amusing Outtakes from Iliza Shlesinger's Campaign Shoot

In May, to launch their new canned Iced Espresso, Peet’s Coffee worked with Portland, OR-based agency North to create the #AlwaysJustified campaign featuring comedian and self-proclaimed elder millennial, Iliza Shlesinger. While shooting the four vignettes, a few unscripted and hilarious interruptions occurred but Shlesinger didn’t miss a beat. North has turned the outtakes into a compilation video that is as funny as the original campaign, titled “Peet’s Iced Espresso Presents: Iliza vs. Herself”.

By design, the shoot was completely improvised by Shlesinger’s comic genius. The costume ripping mid-shoot, a flushing toilet interrupting a take, and Shlesinger’s own behind-the-scenes running commentary didn’t make the final cut, but they are too good not to share.

As Shlesinger said on her Instagram, "I nailed every line…eventually."

The video appears on Peet’s social channels and has been met with praise by Shlesinger’s loyal fan base including comments like, “I just want the popped pants on a loop because I'm crying laughing at it,” and, “I just switched to Peet’s because of this.”
