Pedigree DentaStix Launches App to Take the Perfect Selfie With Your Dog.
As part of a program to get people closer to
their dogs and in time for National Pet Dental Health Month, Clemenger
BBDO Melbourne and Pedigree have launched DogSelfie by Pedigree
DentaStix. The new app helps keep the dog's attention long enough to get
a clear photo.
Dogs are notoriously difficult to get to sit still long enough to take a clear photo, let alone a good selfie. DogSelfie by Pedigree DentaStix uses iPhone's camera flash, combined with attention grabbing sounds, such as squeaky toys and birds chirping, to get dogs to look directly at the camera.
Says Ben Culligan, marketing director, "DogSelfie by Pedigree DentaStix helps dogs maintain a clean, healthy mouth. Pedigree wants to bring owners and their dogs closer together, and this app does it in a really fun way."
