Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass has named PB& their media agency of record following a competitive review - charging the agency to help them continue and raise their profiles as some of the most sought-to-visit entertainment properties in North America.
One of the most photographed and recognized structures in the world, the Space Needle was built as a cultural centerpiece for the 1962 World’s Fair and underwent a $100 million renovation adding more than 176 tons of glass to the structure offering unparalleled views of Seattle and features The Loupe—the world’s first revolving glass floor. Chihuly Garden and Glass features indoor galleries, the centerpiece Glasshouse, and an everchanging Garden alongside live glass demonstrations, a Theatre, and The Bar, offering unique cocktails and light bites surrounded by Dale Chihuly’s collections.
“We want to continue to raise the profile of the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass - making them must-visit entertainment properties, not just visitor attractions,” said Randy Cote, chief marketing officer. “We were energized by how PB& saw media as both a strategic and creative lever in helping us achieve those goals.”
“Both of these brands have been longstanding global icons” said Britt Fero, PB& CEO. “We’re hungry to help them share their stories in bigger and better ways with more of the world.”
PB& was chosen after a review process that included eight other media agencies.
“PB& brought a new way of thinking about media that wasn’t just about delivering reach and frequencies,” said Joey Gale, director of marketing. “We got excited about the new audience and media opportunities they presented that focused on impact not just impressions.”
PB& will roll out new plans in early 2025.
