Reinforcing its reputation as a premier purveyor
of creative talent, Passion Pictures Melbourne has this week announced
the launch of its Illustration division.
Says Katie Mackin,
managing director, Passion Melbourne: "Throughout Passion's 30 year
history, we have worked with an amazing network of illustrators and
artists. They have been our secret weapons for years, so it feels like a
very natural progression for us to expand our offering in this way. As
the way we consume content is constantly evolving, so too are the needs
of our clients; we've brought together a globally-based collective of
creative minds to ensure we can accommodate anything that's thrown at
us."

With an impressive and eclectic array of talent, including famed
NYC-based muralist, Jon Burgerman, and French artist and musician
McBess, the bolstered line-up signifies a broader array of services,
including typography, large-scale artworks and installations but with a
continued focus on character art.
Says Michael

Adamo, executive
producer, Passion Melbourne: "We're very pleased to facilitate the
growing demand for traditional print and editorial work as well as all
of the broader iterations that changing mediums have created. Naturally,
character and concept design have always been part of what we do, being
at the core of the animation process, and we will continue to align
ourselves with the best talent the industry has to offer."
