Director Nick Gordon conducts a charismatic love pursuit set in a Lisbon Metro Station

Antoni Berlin and Anorak Films collaborated with PAGE Portugal to unveil Vodafone’s latest feel-good campaign, ‘Last Chance’. The heart warming film, set in a bustling subway station, showcases a modern-day love story fueled by the incredible capabilities of Vodafone's super-fast 5G network.

Helmed by director Nick Gordon, through Anorak Films, the campaign stars a charismatic young man, humorously donning a chicken costume, who embarks on a pursuit of love after locking eyes with a captivating woman on a train. Thanks to Vodafone's cutting-edge 5G technology, the love-struck protagonist manages to swap contacts with her just before the train departs, using their Apple iPhones. 


The success of the campaign was made possible through meticulous planning and collaboration with Lisbon Metro, a long time trusted collaborator of PAGE. The selected subway station, an end-of-line location, provided the ideal backdrop for the three-day shoot, featuring a moving train and allowing for complete control over the filming environment. 

Lisbon Metro's end-of-line station boasts a kilometre stretch of closed tunnel, ensuring no disruption to regular operations. The filming team, operating between 8am and 7pm each day, benefited from the support of two dedicated drivers provided by Lisbon Metro, facilitating seamless forward and backward movements with minimal reset time.

In order to capture dynamic shots of the chase along the platform, PAGE collaborated with gimbal operator Myron Mance, a specialist in operating on rollerblades. Myron skilfully weaved through the crowd, delivering action shots that added an extra layer of excitement to the campaign.


The campaign runs across TV, online and digital in Germany, Ireland, Italy, Albania, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Czechia.
