OTO Film Welcomes Producer Bartek Sawka

OTO Film, part of the OTO Family holding company, is pleased to announce the hire of producer Bartek Sawka.

A digital content, TVC, and short film producer with a commercial photography background, Bartek has followed his passion for making great things happen from scratch throughout his career, working his way up from stills photographer to production manager to producer. This experience and knowledge gleaned from time in multiple departments has been crucial in fostering skills for effective collaboration with not only directors, but also agencies such as Leo Burnett, Publicis, McCann, and BBDO, and brands including Procter & Gamble, Mastercard, Netflix, and Toyota.

Bartek’s recent work includes a series of films for Polish FMCG brand, Pudliszki, part of Kraft Heinz. Directed by Maciej Kowalczuk, most prominently known for the Amazon documentary ‘Lewandowski – Unknown’, the films are an example of a creative process which puts full trust in an agency and director to transform a simple ketchup commercial script into a branded universe. 

Looking ahead to the next year at OTO Film, Bartek seeks to manage more projects alongside cutting edge virtual production sister company, Vufinder, and lend his talents to the international market once more.

Bartek Sawka comments: “As is said in the opening seconds of the first ‘Lord of the Rings’ film, “The world is changing”. We are once again at a point where the industry is looking at itself, this time with the revolution of text-to-video generative AI tools around the corner. With that in mind, I'm excited to join an organisation possessing a strong spectrum of capabilities. OTO produces top quality films for the international market under the roof of a single holding with all the necessary companies and tools, including a virtual production studio. I believe that this market segment will continue to rely on the amazing talents of the film crews for a long time to come. At the same time, I will be able to continue to develop in my beloved environment - the ‘real’ film set. With cameras, actors, locations or, maybe even an LED screen.”
