Using AI technology, OLIVER’s latest festive card invites people to transform their OOO replies from a typical mundane message to something that’s as joyful as it is personal. 

Rod Sobral, global chief creative officer of OLIVER, said, "Setting your Out Of Office is that punch-in-the-air-moment when work stops and the holidays start. So why does everyone leave such a joyless message? 

“Your message should be as happy about the holidays as you are. Now with My Happy Place, users can stop sending an Out Of Office, and start sending an Out Of This World Office.”  

People receive a link to the Happy Place Portal, then, after entering their photo and holiday dates, they will see themselves transported to a mystical AI wonderland of their choosing. 

It was brought to life by OLIVER’s in-house teams using a wide range of AI tools, like AI image gen, AI upscaling, AI video gen, AI face swap, AI music and AI voice… it’s a real showcase of how far the tech can go alongside human creativity. 

“This is one of those projects that only AI can make happen,” says Magnus Thorne, group creative director on the campaign. “The ability to create some seriously weird and wonderful destinations at speed and scale is seriously impressive." 

Paul Turner, fellow group creative director on the project added, “The campaign shows how AI technology can elevate a creative team's toolbox. And, it’s a laugh! AI has been a very serious subject this year, rightly so. However, we thought it would be nice to use AI simply to put a smile on people’s faces.”
