OkayStudio Promotes Alex O’Brien to Colourist

OkayStudio announces the promotion of Alex O’Brien to colourist. This promotion is a testament to Alex's exceptional talent, dedication and hard work over their time at OkayStudio. Since joining the team, they have consistently demonstrated a keen creative eye on every project, paired with an unwavering commitment to excellence and an ability to enhance the visual storytelling of our projects in ways that truly resonate with clients' and artists’ visions.

Alex has been an integral part of several key projects, working with brands such as Hyundai, Lufthansa, Rapha and Captain Morgan with some wonderful creatives, Irene Baque, Pip+Lib, Candice Lo, Samuel Douek and A Common Future to name a few. Alex has been known for always pushing the boundaries within a grade, never shying away from brave, bold decisions that elevate the work.

Their work has had well deserved industry recognition this year, making the final shortlist for Most Promising Colourist at this year's Creative Circle Awards, paired with a shortlisting at Berlin Commercial for their work on Nike x Wave. Alex has worked globally for agencies such as House of Communication, Craft WW and New Commercial Arts and with UK production companies including Kode, Unit9 and Darling Films.
