Oak Furnitureland, Britain’s biggest hardwood furniture retailer, has appointed the7stars to its UK media planning and buying account.  

The appointment follows a four-way competitive pitch run by AAR, which lasted 10 weeks, from briefing and chemistry meeting, through to pitch meeting and announcement.

the7stars, which is the UK’s largest independent media agency, is now charged with reinvigorating the media strategy through its Grow, Inspire and Sell pillars. 

This will build on Oak Furnitureland’s ‘Grow Your Home’ platform which reflects the business’ expansion into new products and categories that serve the whole home, launched with creative partner TMW Unlimited in October. 

Gill Mison, chief customer officer, at Oak Furnitureland, said, “As a brand, we’re focused on making Oak Furnitureland’s quality products more accessible to more people. This means being able to reach the right audiences and the7stars demonstrated a clear strategy for how we could activate our audience segments within a tactical channel mix.”

the7stars will unlock Oak Furnitureland’s customer data using their proprietary audience planning framework, Gravity Planning, to enhance how audience segmentations are identified and activated across Gravity Connect platforms.
