Sydney-based music and sound house Nylon Studios has completed the sound design for the latest Nissan Australia campaign 'The Turbo Charges Small Packages' for the Australian launch of the Nissan JUKE via agency Whybin/TBWA Melbourne.
The 45-second launch spot takes viewers on a journey with some of history's most well known 'small tough guys' including legendary warriors Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great and Napoleon Bonaparte, linking them to the all new Nissan JUKE.
Directed by Revolver’s Steve Rogers the campaign tagline states, “If history’s taught us anything, it’s that bad arses come in small packages” and is backed by 15-second spots focusing on the car's unique styling and performance.
Commissioned to create a filmic style track to compliment the adventurous nature of the spot, Nylon Studios creative director Simon Lister competed the sound design. "What was enjoyable about this spot was that I had the chance to recreate a battle scene with sound effects like in a block buster movie," he said.
