Bi-coastal entertainment marketing agency Northern Lights welcomes creative director/editor, Yuhei Ogawa.
Yuhei comes most recently from Trailer Park, where he led campaigns for Disney+ hit series Loki, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, trailers for Netflix’s The Liberator and Iron Fist, and TV spots for Deadpool, Dunkirk and Suicide Squad, along with marketing campaigns for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Black Panther and Baby Driver. His commercial assignments have included work for Nike, Dewar’s, Bose, EA Sports and Adidas.
“I am beyond excited to be joining the deep roster of creative talents at Northern Lights,” said Yuhei. “I can’t wait to start collaborating with the whole amazing team in this ever-evolving marketing arena.”
As a former professional dancer, Yuhei has always had a special relationship with music and sound. His unique experience as a stage performer taught him that the precise marriage of imagery and audio plays a crucial role in creating strong emotional connections with audiences.
Northern Lights executive creative director Joe Nichols adds: “Yuhei’s style is the perfect blend of art and commerce, where everything he cuts feels so big but also has so many nuanced artistic touches that elevates his work to the next level.”
Yuhei is currently working on multiple series launch campaigns for Amazon Prime Video, FOX and ABC.
