In Harry Butt’s (aka Butt Studio’s) latest endeavour for Nike, he takes on KIDSVISION.
Jumping feet first into a CGI world of flowers, butterflies, toys and much more, Harry teams up with Nike Portland once again in this visual delight.
As part of the ‘Dynamo Go and Play Pack’ collection, Harry’s virtual material palette for Nike’s FlyEase trainers consists of hard shiny plastics, inflated fabrics and foam textures, some with a semi-transparent gradient. From these materials, Harry creates objects that bounce, jiggle and inflate on screen giving the perception the viewer can almost reach out and touch them.
This project was a perfect fit for CG specialist Harry Butt, whose talents lie in creating worlds that are both technically excellent and aesthetically beautiful. Previously, Harry has worked with Tame Impala and Zalando to build immersive worlds that push the boundaries of 3D.
As an experimental artist operating in multiple digital animation avenues, including AI, Butt Studio is ahead of the game and we’re excited to see what happens next.
