SapientNitro, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), today announced that senior vice president and managing director of UK, Russia and Sweden, Nigel Vaz has been appointed to the position of European Managing Director. In this role, Vaz will now lead the Germany and Switzerland business, in addition to his current remit, in a single EU business unit.
A 13-year company veteran, Vaz has held a variety of leadership positions across North America, Europe and India, most recently leading the UK and Northern Europe business through a period of strong growth. Vaz will continue to work closely with SapientNitro’s Asia-Pacific and North America leaders to ensure cross-geographic collaboration, particularly in support of global accounts.
