No, they are not quite rallying behind the ‘Movember’ movement – although Altmann + Pacreau are indeed sporting moustaches this month - the exception being that we are more likely to find theirs gracing their feet.
Their agency recently won the young Parisian fashion label Mr Moustache – designers and fabricants of shoes with a quirky vintage look and feel. It was through the application of this attitude that they devised a campaign based on three films, all which centre on a clever yet absurdist humour.
We embody our moustaches with this fresh brand of footwear, and henceforth change our habits; "now, we polish our moustache", "now, we wipe our moustaches before coming in" and even "now, we play footsy with our moustache”.
To capture the zany yet elegant spirit of the brand, the agency called upon director Martin Scali at Irene Productions who has collaborated with a master of the genre, Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Royal Tenenbaums...).
