New EP/Partner of Milk & Honey Films

Milk & Honey Films, has promoted Daniela Huml to Executive Producer and Partner. Based out of their Los Angeles office, Daniela has helped to significantly build the production services company located in the U.S., Europe, South America, and soon to be Asia. For over seven years, Daniela has been with Milk & Honey Films collaborating with international film crews and top production companies such as B-Reel, Acne, and Non-Fiction. Recently, Daniela has been instrumental in bringing together large productions for brands including Jeep, Volkswagen, Microsoft, Degree, Kohler, Southern Comfort, and Breitling, throughout the U.S., South America and Europe.

 

“I love the creative challenge of production.  Finding solutions when often times there is no solution, is the best part of my job,” says Daniela.

 

Originally from Communist Czechoslovakia, Daniela was introduced at a young age to filmmaking, just after the Velvet Revolution. She became familiar with many facets of film production working in roles such as 3rd AD, production, grip, wardrobe, and prop assistant. Daniela’s enthusiasm and work ethic quickly caught the attention of many famous directors and she became especially practiced with continuity and script supervision – developing a keen eye for precision and details – skills she attributes to her success in production to this day.

 

Daniela worked her way up through the production industry ranks as a production manager, line producer, and production supervisor, gaining many years of invaluable experience within every corner of Europe, with world-class directors on films including LES MISERABLES, JOAN OF ARC and THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. Eventually she relocated to Chile with Tantor Films working throughout South and Latin American countries covering productions in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico.

 

Daniela is one of very few producers capable of budgeting productions – working in AICP form – in several countries around the world for union and non-union markets.
