No hard-to-get-hold-of chairman, no expensive and indiscreet holding company CEO and no legions of do-nothing warm bodies. Multi-award-winning creative
Neil Dawson has launched a new creative company that’s pitching a pure creative approach and an unusual business model.
Just don’t call it an agency.
Neil A Dawson & Company is promising a new approach, according to founder Neil Dawson. The brains behinf Philips Carousel and the Gunn Report topping Surprisingly Ordinary Prices campaign for VW, has partnered with TAG and Smoke & Mirrors in order to tap into a responsive, global production footprint. The pitch is a personal, approachable creative shop backed by international production clout.
The agency launches with an as yet undisclosed pan-European account and Neil has curated his talent network from years in the industry.
The agency launched at Cannes Lions with a series of provocative posters calling out the inefficient and impersonal approach of the old school model – not to mention the rather indiscreet and inappropriate spending habits of some established traditional network leaders.
Between 2011 and 2014, Neil was ECD and Founding Partner at BETC London and he also spent 18 months as a global ECD on Nissan at TBWA\Chiat\Day.
