Kiddo, a creative led production studio known for its craft forward projects has welcomed Nadia Dunn in the the role of executive producer in Toronto, signalling a new era for the organisation.
“This year saw a marked shift in the number and scale of Toronto jobs that we were winning, enough to realise it was time to put some real energy into growing the market. I couldn’t think of a better leader to bring Kiddo’s west coast flavoured approach to production to the Toronto market.” said Michael Milardo, managing director and co-founder of Kiddo.
Having spent the last decade working agency side, Nadia brings a hybrid sensibility to all corners of the business, leading production teams at shops like Bolt (Juniper Park/TBWA) and most recently Mint, Nadia's diverse experience aligns seamlessly with Kiddo's ethos of production innovation fused with creativity. Previous client base include Pinterest, Nissan, Bell, TD Bank, IKEA, Kellogg’s, Labatt Breweries, Nike and Hershey, among others.
Since being founded in 2018 (with co-founders from renowned animation studio Giant Ant) Kiddo has been Vancouver based and predominantly west coast focused. However, with Nadia Dunn at the helm, Kiddo is set to broaden its horizons in the Toronto and East Coast markets.
Expressing her enthusiasm about joining Kiddo, Nadia shared, “I am thrilled to start this new chapter with Kiddo and grow the Toronto side of the business. Toronto holds a huge wealth of untapped creative potential, and I am so ready to grow our directorial talent offering and help build out Kiddo’s footprint here.”
