Mustard's John Doris Launches New Company HunkyDory

John Doris, Managing Director of Mustard, has launched his new Production Company, HunkyDory.
John is starting afresh as sole Managing Director of his new venture. John explains: “I loved what we had at Mustard, but felt we needed a change and a new direction. I was keen to start again alone with a more select set of directors with specific skills in their relevant genres.”
HunkyDory will be representing some reputable, established names from the old Mustard regime aligned with some exciting new incoming talent in Dean Blumberg, Matthäus Bussmann, Mustafa Mazouzi, Charlie Thorne, Scott Weintrob, Zak Stoltz, Peter Harton, Matt Rhodes, Jean Paul Frenay, Andreas Bruns and Amir Chamdin.
This eclectic mix of creative talent from all over the world offers skill and experience in commercials, award-winning drama and TV series, feature films, music videos and documentaries. The HunkyDory roster have made an impressive collective of films for some of the biggest brands, ranging from Coca Cola to McDonald’s, KFC, Carlsberg, Audi, H&M, BBC and Sky Atlantic. They have worked with such talent as Benedict Cumberbatch, Idris Elba, Sir Ben Kingsley, Jamie Foxx, Gisele Bündchen, to sporting stars like Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney.
Their fantastic bodies of work have won them awards at Cannes Lions, D&AD, Creative Circle, Clio, as well as BAFTA, RTA and Emmy recognition.
With these strengths, HunkyDory will be offering their trusted and highly accomplished directors, producers, creators, writers and photographers to generate award-winning short and long form content globally. The new start brings with it a modern and reliable energy for the industry that can work to any brief and create outstanding work for agencies or clients direct.
