MullenLowe has named Carlos Andrés Rodríguez as UK executive creative director. Carlos has been at MullenLowe since 2023 as global creative director and was an integral part of the recent Kimberly-Clark win for Interpublic Group.
Overseeing the creative and design department, and major clients like Unilever and Bayer, Carlos will partner with Tom Knox, Katie McCambley and Ben Shaw to realise the agency’s promise of delivering big thinking with cultural impact, while expanding the agency’s client roster.
Prior to MullenLowe UK, he was a founding partner of WPP’s David Bogotá and was named among The World’s Most Innovative and Inspiring individuals in 2022. His award accolades include the Black Pencil of the Decade at D&AD, an Innovation Grand Prix and a Titanium Lion at Cannes Lions, to name a few.
“Carlos is a phenomenal creative talent with boundless energy and charisma. He is tremendously driven and demanding, and I can’t wait to see his impact on our work,” said Tom Knox, chairman, MullenLowe UK.
Throughout his career, Carlos has worked on local, regional and global work for clients like ABInBev, Google, Unilever and Bayer.
“London is one of my favorite places on earth, and to keep growing in a network like MullenLowe is a dream come true. I want to keep the creative momentum at the agency moving forward, push for transformative ideas that will positively impact our clients’ business, and help build up the careers of the great people working here,” said Carlos.
