Director makes tablet experience a family affair

Moxie Pictures director Tomas Leach ushers family bonding into a digital world in the new :20 “Age Booth” for Tesco out of Wieden+Kennedy. The charming spot features a family eagerly gathering in front of a Hudl tablet to share one of the many engaging apps on the new Android tablet as a family. The spot is part of an 8-spot campaign showing generations both young and old taking in the entertaining technologies on the tablet. The campaign features the additional :20s “Brothers and Cat,” “Grandma Dancing,” “Belgium,” “Make up,” “Sausages,” “Raspberries,” and “Talking Tom.”

 


“Age Booth” opens with a family of four anxiously gazing at a screen in front of them in anticipation. When the awaited moment arrives, the family quickly disperses in shock and laughter, as a picture of the little girl, digitally aged 45 years, is revealed on the Hudl tablet. The spot closes with the super, “Let’s play, Let’s Watch, Let’s Share, Let’s Hudl,” and ends on a Hudl tablet along with the Tesco logo.
